Wild
Wild is a 36ft, Percy Dalton, Falmouth Working Boat. Built in 1982 in Mylor Bridge, carvel construction of Iroko on oak, she was originally open. However, shortly after launching she was converted into a yacht and decked over. Current owners Evelyn and Ben have owned Wild for 3 years and sailed her between Cornwall and Scotland currently keeping her in Penryn. This year for Sea Salts, Wild has linked up with New Dawn Taders to transport and trade the most delicious fair trade goods to be collected and purchased from the vessel. The produce is sailed from across the Atlantic Ocean and along European coastlines pollution-free. ”Inspired by people, projects and businesses that promote resilience in local food systems, we have designed the Voyage COOP to apply this way of thinking to international trade. With our network of ships, producers and allies, we are building new models for supply chains that put planet and people first. We will be sailing in for Sea Salts & Sails to deliver the most delicious coffee, panel sugar, olive oil and more, onboard the beautiful Falmouth working boat, gaff-cutter Wild”.
